Production

When filming I planned to do part of the shoot in one day (Shots without the gun April 17th 2019) which went to plan, it only took a couple of hours however, when I got into editing I saw that some of the shots were overexposed which took me down the route of going black and white. When filming the shots in the studio (May 9th 2019)  I had planned to do it on the Thursday before hand (May 2nd 2019) however, the person I had asked cancelled on me so I found somebody else and changed the date which did not really mess anything up as I had already got half of the footage.
Next time I shoot a video I will make sure the exposure is correct and that the focus is correct as well as in one of my clips it starts out blurry (which was planned) but, it never comes into focus.

POST PRODUCTION
For my post production I used Adobe premier pro.

BEFORE

AFTER:
I changed the clip to black and white because I feel it links in with lost as when you are happy it is all colourful however when you are lost it is seen in black and white.
To make this clip black and white I clicked video effects image control then dragged black and white onto the clip. Then, clicked colour correction and dragged lumetri control onto the clip and adjusted the vignette until I liked how it came out

This is how I made the clip black and white

SHOT TYPES

At the start of my music video there is a scene where the gun spins on the table I had just kept it plain as I thought it would be okay however, my lecturer suggested I add another gun over the top and change the opacity.

I did this by copying and pasting the same clip and placing it on top of the original one. After this I selected the new one and changed the opacity and slowed it down which gave it the effect of double vision.

This is what it looked like afterwards.

The opening clip of my music video started off like this which I believed was fine. However I was suggested to add the lower third and an MTV logo. I did this by finding the MTV logo online and taking it into photo shop and removing the background. Once added into my video I changed its opacity so it didn't stand out as much. Once the MTV logo was added in I put in the lower thirds. I did this by going to the top bar clicking graphics then browse. I then clicked the box underneath 'Essential Graphics'.
I also added easing in (zoom) I did this because physiologically people will lean in towards the video.

It looks like this

This is what it looks like afterwards.

In part of my music video I wanted to make the clip go with the rhythm so I right clicked the line above the thin green thin and clicked add marker I did this all along with the beat and afterwards went back and adjusted the scale to make it look like it was a heartbeat which turned out really well.

This is my final video
